highways and freeways only. Contact local jurisdictions for county
and city roads.

State highways/freeway filming only. State troopers are not required
on all shoots. When
shooting on county roads or municipal roads, local jurisdictions
will handle police. Call

Minnesota State Parks
Shooting in Minnesota State Parks requires a permit from the individual
park. Fees vary
according to the complexity of the shoot and the park usage.

Lakes and Wildlife Areas
Production companies should contact the local county water patrol/sheriff's
office for
local regulations on lakes and waterways. The DNR is also helpful
for questions about
wildlife, environment, and other natural resource.

from the State Capitol
