I finished my photography training at MCTC in the fall of 2007. During the summer of 2007, I interned with Lee Stanford and Paul Nelson. I have been hired by both since. I have just started putting myself out there as an assistant. What I may lack in experience, I make up for with enthusiasm and willingness. I get along with any personality type. I constantly look for things to learn or do around the studio. I have experience with speedotrons, normasn, broncolors, dyno-lights, photogenics, and profotos. I comfortable working with photoshop, camera RAW, capture one, photo mechanic, and bridge. I want to learn as much as I can in the diverse world of photography. Take a chance on me, and I will go out of my way to assist you.

The simple truth: my only professional experience has been as the main shooter at two events, and a second shooter on two weddings. These experiences (and many years of amateur shooting), have fostered a deep love for the art and science of this craft. I recently updated my skills by taking some classes at Brainco, and now shoot 100% digital. I have above-average skills in photoshop, a great eye, a reliable vehicle, and an old-school work ethic (I'm 37- no longer the indolent adolescent who expects everything without having to sacrifice anything). I'm willing to log the long hours, I just need a mentor willing to take a chance on a diamond in the rough. My website will reveal more about my skills than my words, so give me a call if you like what you see! I'm presently available 24-7. Namaste!

I'm a student at MCTC in the Photography and Digital Imaging program taking classes from Jack Mader and Craig McNitt. I've used basic studio equipment to fulfill course load requirements. So far I've been taught how to use Photogenic strobes. I shoot Nikon DSLRs and am reasonably comfortable with Canon DSLR equipment and RAW file conversions. Currently taking a course load that will over the next four months introduce me to C1 Pro, Leaf backs, medium format cameras, flash units, more advanced Adobe Photoshop techniques, and a larger variety of lighting systems and techniques. I take direction well, think independently, work hard and have an easy going demeanor. I can also lift and move heavy things and get to hard to reach places, shower every day, cooks well and knows how to use a mop and bucket. Most importantly I'm fully dedicated to my studies and hope to expand my skills and knowledge at every chance. I'm in school all day Wednesday though Friday. I'm available 9 am to 10 pm Saturday though Tuesday.

I am in the process of completing my photo assistant training as MCTC; classes include photo assistant training, photoshop, among others. What I lack in "real world" experience, I make up for in tenacity and hardwork. I'd sweep floors for 10 hours a day just to get an hour of real experience. I am open to learning and I learn really quick. I'm never scared to ask questions and ask for help when I don't understand something. Photography is the only profession and art I want to do with my life. I am a very good photographer and I know I'll only get better as I am given opportunites to work with bright creative individuals who are just as eager to educate me as I am to learn.

I am currently a photography student in college and I am looking to help any professional photographers with any basic assisting they may need. I have never assisted before in a professional setting but I have worked on many studio projects of my own and am currently employed in a photography studio, so I am familiar with how things work in a studio. I am looking to learn as much as I possibly can from anyone who is willing to teach me.
